The Maine Department of transportation is performing an emergency replacement on a failing culvert located on US Route 2/4 in Wilton. The work area is 200 feet south of Munson Road. Work is scheduled to begin on June 9th and is scheduled to be finished by June 16th. Drivers can expect a full closure of the roadway at the project location. A detour utilizing Routes 133 and 156 will be in effect for the project duration. The detour route will be marked.
All trucks are encouraged to take Route 133. There will be an influx of traffic at the Rt2/Rt133 traffic light in Farmington and other side roads during this closure. Please drive slowly!
